The Governor of West Region reports a terrorist attack this morning 21 Nov 2023 in Bamenyam, Bamboutos, by Amba terrorists from neighbouring localities in the NW-Region. The terrorists came on about thirty motorcycles, surrounded the market and started attacking civilians randomly. The provisional report shows eight victims dead, three shops and a cargo vehicle burnt, and about 10 people kidnapped, several bikes stolen.
