The Minister of Defence Beti Assomo Joseph, released a press statement below, shedding light to what happened in the night of 09 June 2019. On the 10th of June, 300 Boko Haram terrorists attacked a Cameroon Military position (DARAK) in the Extreme North of Cameroon.
16 brave Cameroonian HEROs gave their lives, defending the Fatherland. 8 more were wounded. 8 civilians also lost their lives.
64 Boko Haram terrorists were neutralised, and 8 captured alive.
