Many of these IDPs are setting roots in the Francophone zone. Buying property, building there, raising children, etc just like how Bamileke settled in NW and SW after marquissard and NEVER returned back to West Region.
That’s EXACTLY how anglophones are being transported & transplanted from anglophone zones to francophone zones.. This is the easiest way to ASSIMILATE huge chunks of Anglophone population to the Francophone system. This is BRILLIANT.
Over 50% of these IDPs will NEVER return back to NW & SW even if ambazonia terrorism ends today.
AND those who return back will bring with them French language, and francophone culture they learned in the 7+ years while they were forced by amba terrorists to assimilate with francophones.
Those who return back to anglophone zone, will continue interacting with those who didn’t leave, teaching them francophone culture in the process.
Those IDPs in the Francophone zone will also help spread the anglophone culture in the Francophone zone..
In the end, say in 10 or 20 years time, everyone will be very comfortable with Cameroon as a melting pot of different cultures, stronger in our diversity..
The lines between francophones and anglophones that used to divide us, will be blurred and eventually disappear.
We will have a situation with some francophones who don’t speak fluent French, and some anglophones who don’t speak fluent English, and majority of the population will be BILINGUAL.
