RADIO COMMUNIQUE – The Senior Divisional Officer for #Bui Division informs the public that following intelligence, in the night of Tuesday 3rd breaking Wednesday 4th October 2023, our valiant Forces carried out a surgical operation in the neighbourhood of #Kikaikom in #Kumbo Sub Division, during which, eleven (11) hostages i.e. ten (10) men and one (01) woman were rescued from a terrorist camp and several weapons recuperated. The released persons are presently being taking care of by our Defense and Security Forces and shall joln their families soon.
The Senior Divisional Officer seizes this opportunity to congratulate our Defense and Security Forces for their bravery and professionalism, and also to call on the law-abiding population of Kumbo in particular and Bui Division in general, to continue collaborating with the Administration and the Defense and Security Forces in the fight against all acts of criminality, in order to consolidate the peace and normalcy that is gradually returning in Kumbo and Bui Division. /-
