Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education Officiates at Regional Youth Sports Jamboree in Bamenda, 24 Aug 2024, a clear indication that ambazonia terrorism has been defeated, they did not even attempt to interrupt or disturb because they do not have the capability just to disturb.
Bamenda, North West Region – The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, presided over the closing ceremony of the Regional Youth Sports Jamboree on August 24, 2024, at the Military Stadium in #Bamenda. The amba Terrorists did not even attempt to declare Lockdown like they used to do in 2018/19 at the peak of ambazonia terrorism. Peace and Normalcy is slowly returning to the NW region, due to the defeat of ambazonia Terrorism. The Few remaining pockets of Bandits and Kidnappers will be eliminated one by one.
The event, organized by the Cameroon National Youth Council (CNYC) North West Regional Bureau, brought together youths from across the region to participate in various sporting activities, including football, amputee football, and traditional games.
Ngoketunjia emerged as the winner of the football tournament, taking home a cash prize of over 1 million francs and a trophy. Momo finished second, losing to Ngoketunjia with a score of 1-2.
The Minister emphasized the importance of moral, civic, and entrepreneurial education in ensuring academic, social, and personal integration. He encouraged the youths to be exemplary in their behavior, have a fighting spirit, and succeed through the National Civil Immigration Program.
The CNYC North West Region President, Mekom Samuel Taleh, stressed the need for peace, collaboration, and respect for the laws of Cameroon. He urged the youths to take advantage of the government’s support for startups and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The event featured awards and cash prizes for outstanding participants, including Bache Ihimbru, who was recognized for his excellence in community contribution.
In his remarks, the President of CNYC Ngoketunjia appealed for national unity and integration, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and calm in achieving peace and development.
The ceremony was attended by over 1,000 youths, who showed enthusiasm and eagerness to go back to school. The Minister’s presence and the government’s support for youth initiatives have instilled confidence in the youths, who now look forward to a brighter future.
