PRESS RELEASE – The Senior Divisional Officer for #Menchum informs the public at large and the #Esu Community in particular that today Tuesday the 12th December 2023, armed terrorists attacked Government Technical High School (GTHS) Esu in Fungom Subdivision at about 09.30 a.m. that led to the undressing of students, torture, burning of a block of two (2) classrooms and the Principal’s Office, kidnapping of the Vice-Principal Mr. ACHUO Oscar BUH and the Discipline Master Mr. KUM Julius MEH and eight (8) male students.
The students who were injured were taken to ESU Medicalised Health Centre for medical attention and there is no worry about their health. The eight (8) students kidnapped were later released, following intervention of Defense and Security Forces in the field.
The Senior Divisional Officer for Menchum condemns in a very strong terms, this continuous barbaric act perpetrated by armed terrorists on innocent unarmed citizens and assures the population that investigations and operations are on-going to track these criminals for punishment in accordance with the regulations in force.
The Senior Divisional Oficer for Menchum calls on the law-abiding and peace-loving population of ESU in particular and Menchum Division in general to remain calm, to continue to collaborate with the Administration, Defence and Security Forces in order to enhance the peace which they were already enjoying./-
The Terrorists WILL be Kumkumised. No peace for the wicked, no appeasement to terrorists, no dialogue, no negotiations with TERRORISTS.
Come what may, these amba terrorists will never succeed in their homeland project or in any other demonic or satanic enterprise. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, they shall be hunted down by our defense and security forces with the assistance of our civilian population. We stand on God’s entire Word and unleash all of His Weapons of Warfare against all entities of darkness that have ganged up against our education and our Nation Cameroon.
