General Bouba of the 5th military region in Bamenda has introduced himself to amba boys in style, launching multiple military attacks on multiple fronts in Batibo, Ndu-Kumbo area, Some parts of Bui, Bambui, and Oku. KontriPipo can confirm dozens of amba boys have been killed in these military operations. Below we focus on the Batibo Operations that was launched on 27 July 2022 and extended till 31 July, gathering intelligence and expanding the Operations.
11 confirmed amba boys killed and Dozens more injured. The Military is still in Batibo, combing the area and utilising the intelligence gathered from the dozens of amba boys captured. They intend to visit all hospitals in the local area to fish out all injured combatants seeking medical attention in State licensed Hospitals.
Several Weapons were seized, including explosives. The amba boys had occupied two houses and used the properties as base camps and torture chamber for their victims who were kidnapped for ransoms. Those two houses were burnt down by the military.
